A bright and contemporary family space, light and garden connection, crafted storage and simplicity.
This new extension in North London transforms the ground floor of a family home into a full-width kitchen, living and dining space designed for everyday life and entertaining. The brief was to create a “wow factor” room — open, light-filled, and seamlessly connected to the garden.

Full-height doors line the rear elevation, drawing daylight deep into the home and opening the interior to the garden. A projecting window seat extends into the landscape — a quiet spot for reading, relaxing, or enjoying the changing seasons.
A full-height joinery wall runs the length of the space, combining a children’s library, display shelving and integrated media storage. This cohesive element anchors the room and adds warmth, texture and function to the contemporary interior.
